<itunes:subtitle>Is Social Media to Blame for Rise in Hate Crimes?</itunes:subtitle>
      <itunes:summary><![CDATA[Last
week, a gunman opened fire in a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, killing at
least 50 people and injuring 50 more. As he did so, the shooter live-streamed
the entire crime on Facebook.

The
company said they tried to stop it, but face big challenges.

New
Zealand's prime minister, Jacinda Ardern later on had strong words for the
social media companies that enabled the shooter to broadcast his massacre
around the world.

So should
social media be responsible for the rise of violet extremism and hate crimes? Are
more extremists getting radicalized online in today’s world? And what should
the company's role be in controlling white supremacy and white nationalism?

Check
out this week's panel to listen to the full episode on this matter.]]></itunes:summary>

a U.S. "conspiracy" against the country this week as vast crowds
marked 40 years since the Islamic Revolution.

40 years this week, after days of
protests, street battles and uncertainty, Iran's military stood down, paving
the way for the Islamic Revolution and the return of Ayatollah Ruhollah
Khomeini.

Also this week, Supreme Leader Ayatollah
Ali Khamenei said Iran can only lose by negotiating with the United States and
must be careful to limit any dealings with some "untrustworthy"
European states.

These remarks came as a two-day
conference on peace in the Middle East, led by the US and focused primarily on
how to curb Iran's influence, ended with no substantive results.

In this week’s panel, we are going to discuss
issues include - what does the Islamist Revolution mean for Iran and beyond?
Where are its relations with the US going? And how will Iran deal with the
challenges facing its economy and foreign policy?]]></itunes:summary>
